When trying to run Distiller by Automation from a VB app on a client PC (NT4), the user gets the error "ActiveX can't create object". We never saw this on a development PC, and it turns out that if we set the user to have local admin rights, the error goes away.
Our security guy does NOT want us to use this as a solution, hence the question - can Distiller automation work if the user does not have local admin rights?
TIA,
Bill.
