Distiller files in trash OS 9.2.2

Every time I use Distiller (4), when I start up the next morning I have rescued items in the trash. Also happens on another G4 tower running 9.1 and the same version.

Ideas? It's just annoying, doesn't seem to be hurting anything, but I'd love to know why.
