How do i set up distibution list to appear in the global address list. Would i use system manager or outlook?

Short answer is in ADCU in the MMC.
Distribution Groups in Exchange 2000 are set in the Active Directory similar to setting up new user instead choose Group. Then you need to choose security group or distribution.
After the group is created just add users.
This is the short version, I'm sure Microsoft has the details but if you are familiar with AD it should be enough. Ernie

You also need to right click on it -> Exchange Tasks -> Establish an e-mail address Dan

I have done all this and the group does still not appear in the global address list.

It isn't stamped by the RUS. Can you post an LDP dump of it? LDP is AD Admin Tool on the Support Tools which is on the Windows 2000 Server CD. Dan
