I'm working on a management report (CR 10)where I need to show summary info/ and totals at the begining of the report, and detail later. My skills are a bit rusty. In essence, I want to display a variable display of a grand total before the detail section, and want to do this without having to use a subreport. Is this possible? How would this be accomplished?

So, I created running total variables to successfully show my results in the group and report footers...how do I get the display value from the report footer to display correctly at the begining of my report? Feeling like I'm forgetting something obvious...Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Are you certain that running totals were necessary? If you used inserted running totals, how did you set up the running totals? If you created manual running totals by formulas, please display the content of one of them and identify in what section it was placed.

Running totals accumulate at the same times as the data is printed, so you can't put them ahead of the data. No way round that. The use of Crystal's automated totals is outlined at FAQ767-6524.
