Friends,
I am displaying the input values entered by user in parameter using join fn in Report header. But when the particulat input value enter by user is not presented in Database I want it to be hilighted in some form. Is this possible?.
Thanks again
T.

This makes no sense. If you are using an input value for your parameter, is not the field in question in the entire report equal to that value?

At any rate, right click the field in question and select format field. Go to the font tab and click the X-2 button to the right of style, and enter a formula:

If {?YourParameter}={YourField} then crBold else defaultattribute

I just wanted to try this option, otherwise can i show the values entered in parameter and not in database in Report footer?. Using arrays or something?
Thanks a lot again for the time.

Did you try my formula?

Yes, it is saying a number is required instead of defaultattribute.

What is the data type of the parameter and the data type of the field you want to compare it against? They must be the same.

Using arrays is no where near the right answer.

I'm assuming you no longer need this solution because of my suggestion in one of your other posts?
