I HAVE A REPORT THAT IS NOT DISPLAYING THE CORRECT INFORMATION.

THE REPORT HAVE MULTIPLE BOXES, IF ALL BOXES ARE CHECK IT DISPLAY ALL CHECKED BOXES. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF TWO WHICH DISPLAY TEXT..

IF BOTH BOXES ARE SELECTED WITH THE SAME REPORT NUMBER AND THEY HAVE TEXT CRYSTAL DOES NOT KNOW WHICH ONE TO PICK. All I WANT IS TO PICK THE FIRST CHECKED BOX WITH TEXT AND JUST CHECKED THE SECOND ONE BUT DON'T DISPLAY THE TEXT.

PLEASE ADVISE..
THANK YOU..

It will help if you stated the version of Crystal you are using along with the database type since there may be different solutions depending on database and Crystal version.

Are the checked boxes associated with a given table field or are we talking multiple records for a given report number. If they are multiple records, is there a date field identifying when the boxes were checked. Some examples would help.

With the limited info supplied, I have used the following with multiple records having a date field with Crystal 8.5 and Crystal XI.

With a group on report number, I insert sort on date (ascending for first update or descending on last update). I place the detail object in the group header. That way only one detail record will be printed.

Thank you very much for your advised kskid.....
Version is crystal 9.0 with SQl 2000. What worked for me is just selecting ascending because data was already group all i need is to display the text..
