I want to add several lines of changing text below images in a slideshow. I had been using a select (drop-down) box to display a few words of text and that worked but I can't wrap that text and the new text extends to several lines for each image.

What are my options? Can I simply create an area below the images and display the text there? How do I keep track of which text is associated with which image? It had been easy using indexing in the select feature.

Thanks for any help.

You'll have to be more specific, but it appears that an array of strings would work,

then you just put the string into a div's innerHTML property (div replaces the select box)

Did you just want plain text or were you using the select box for something?

Could you post your code? It'll be easier to help you. Also, Nevermoor brings up an important question - do you plan on doing anything with the select box?
