When ever i try to place an applet written in swing on a web page the applet doesn't load up and i get some error displayed within the strip at the bottom of the browser. Are there any special settings that need to be done??? Does anyone know what i could have done wrong

cheers

Isn't there a plug-in required for swing components? [sig]<p>--Will Duty<br><a href=mailto:wduty@radicalfringe.com>wduty@radicalfringe.com</a><br><a href= > </a><br> [/sig]

yeah, there is, you have to add in certain code to your html, then when it is run the java.sun page is referenced and it allows the applets to be shown, not quite sure how it works

I wrote a faq on how to do this since there have been many questions on how to do this lately.
If you like the faq you can vote how effective it was, just look in the faq section on the top of the main java(sun) forum page.

good luck B-)
