displaying scroll bar

I have created a form for redemption entry. While executing this form it displays the scroll bar (as scroll bar property is set).
I have created another form (main page form) & has the menu's. The menu calls the above redemption form.
When I execute the main page form & click on the redemption menu which call the redemption form, it does not display the scroll bar.
But the scroll bar is displayed if I run the redemption form independently.
Where am I going wrong ? Please advice.

Is it a scroll bar on a block, a text item or a canvas?

In the block property palette, Scroll Bar option, I have set 'Show Scroll Bar' as Yes & 'Scroll Bar Canavas', I have selected the canavas name.

Any help on this please.
To add more, I am displaying 1 record at a time & there are 77 fields on the canavas for which I need to use the scroll bar.
