Displaying prompts on report do not reflect Prompt Value

Impromptu 6.0 build 613.0

On my reports I display the date range the users type in the prompts. When I display the prompts on the report, the prompt value does not reflect what the user entered. However if I display the detail filter the detail filter reflects what the user entered.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The insert "Prompt Values" action does not work until version 7.1.

To the contrary, inserting prompt values has always worked for me in every version since 3.0. Something else is going on here.
