Displaying ony summary information in PowerCube 1

I have a region heirarchy that displays Nation/State/City.

When you look at information in the Nation level, it displays all states with the Nation total. I only want to see the Nation subtotal. Same thing with Stat. If I drill to a state, it show all cities with a state subtotal. I just want it to show State total.

So when I'm looking at Nation, it only displays the Nation total info, and if from there I drill to State, it displays only the summary info from that state.

You could select all the categories you dont want to see and right click -> hide. This will solve your problem or change your transformer model and make Nation/State/city into three dimensions

The problem with hiding is that, say we adopt a new state, that state won't be hidden, right.

Right, you don't want to hide. You want to alter the transformer model. When you look in the model at the diagram, Is Nation Suppressed? If so, unsupress it , and re run the cube, and look at the total for nation. Hope this is what you are looking for.

That works for Nation, but what about when you choose a State, it shows all cities and the state summary

The only way to see a summary of the state level would be to create another level, so you have a double level in the model. That way the 1st click after the nation, you see the state summary, and the second click you see all the states. Try it, maybe this will work out for you.
