Displaying number of online users

hello all...

i am creating this website and i want to add a counter that displays the number of online users that are currently logged on to my server...
i am using windows 2000 server for the my hosting server and the server is at my location, not with a hosting company.

If you're using ColdFusion, here's an extremely easy tutorial that I found. I've been using this on serveral of my sites. Very little code, and all you have to do is copy and paste it into your page.

Any pre-processor that uses sessions should be able to... check put the PHP forum as well.

i am using asp pages... and i want to count the number of users who r viewing my website... not logged in with a username and password... i think that made a little confusion...
and i am not using the .NET framework....
