If I go to the Yahoo finance section and click on the small display stock chart, it does not open into the large stock chart. It is supposed to open into a large displayed chart of the same stock. On Opera or Netscape, no problem. I get the proper chart. But not so in Internet Explorer. I've tried all kinds of adjustments, but nothing seems to work.

When you go to Yahoo Finance, there is a sidebar that opens with a chart of the NASDAQ. If you double click on that chart a window opens which is supposed to show an enlarged picture of that chart. That's what happens in OPERA and Netscape. It used to happen in Internet Explorer, but for some reason, it has stopped working. I thought it had something to do with JAVA, but I tried it with and without JAVA to no avail. What comes up is a screen with a sidebar border of a basic chart, with the identifying information running across the top of the screen, and the rest is a big, blank square where the chart is supposed to be.

As a matter of fact, I notice that when I click on many followup links (like trying to get a quote from SelectQuote for insurance, the next page after clicking on "Online Quote" comes up "The Page Cannot be Displayed". I get that quite a bit when using Internet Explorer.

I did go to the Microsoft workaround, but to no avail since Windows XP Pro does not conform to the requirements of the workaround.

My regedit does not bring up the same one mentioned in the article dealing with modification of the password. I presume that's what you were referring to.
