Hello, I'm trying to change the name that is displaying in a phone. I use cmd 771 then ext#xxxx. I try change name to new guy. From 8 button phone (NEC DtermSeries i) I only able do letter A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H. How I do letter from I to Z.

Thank you very much

you can't get the alpha characters on an 8 button phone other than the ones you have already found. To directly enter them you need a 16 button phone with the 20 speed dial keys down the side. But if you follow the FAQ it is easier using 770.

There is a little known access code that allows for changing the name of your phone using the Key Pad 0-9.

In command 200>X-XXXX>A110 Where X-XXXX = Acces code.

Then get dialtone plus your access code and use the key pad to enter the name.

As an example 2=ABCabc each time you press the 2 it toggles though the list.

space is under 0
