Hello everyone,

We are using Crystal v10 and we have an issue with a numeric field with a precision of 31. When I pulll this field into a report with Crystal it displays in scientific notation rather than a standard number. Is there a way to bypass the scientific notation formatting?

Thanks,

One trick would be to create a string out of it on the database side using a SQL Expression (TO_CHAR function).

If you only need to display it, this will work.

When asking about data, please post your database and connectivity.

As for the initial concern, I think that Crystal is still limited to 15 digits of precision (double data type in C++) without using exponential notation.
