Is there any way of getting Windows Explorer to display file security, i.e, who has what access to files in the cunrrently displayed window? Or would i need some thrid party software? If so, what?

Thanks in advance.

I assume you mean something other than just viewing security in the file properties one by one. I don't know how to make Windows Explorer show all user priveleges, but you can get a listing of user rights within a directory by using the command line (from command prompt) "cacls *.* > mytextfile.txt . In the resulting text file, you'll see a listing per directory and file of each assigned user and its permissions for that object.

Have a look at the Perms command.
