Hi Guys,

Is it possible to display a different DN to the one you are assigned?

For example:

A huntgroup (DN8000) has 4 extns assigned to it. When these extns call other internal extns, can the name and DN of the huntgroup be displayed? The extns do not want their numbers advertised to other users.

I have played with Privacy and Prime Name but this still displays the extns DN number rather than the huntgroup DN.

Cheers.

Nope, not going to happen.

I tried this in our office and it worked.

Took my extn: 3691 and changed the name to "Test 3600". I set the prime name to yes and privacy to yes.

Made test call. The name that came up was "Test 3600".

Ver 9.0 3300

That makes sense. I was trying to overcomplicate it. Cheers for that.

Guy's please resolve a conflict in your statements for me.

How is it that in one case the DN is displayed and in the other the name. Which is it guys?
