Displaying Default if no rows retrieved from Subreport

I am using CR 8.5 and Oracle 8 DB. I'm getting a field in my Main Report from a Subreport. I want to display a value zero in this field if no rows are displayed in the Subreport. I know I can write a formula somewhere to display a default in case no rows are there in Subreport but don't know exactly where to write. Please Help.
