I am working on a report sorted and grouped by ID that displays a calculated field in the ID Footer. I need to display the data again in the ID Header.

[IDHeaderText]=[IDFooterText] works only if the data for that ID is limited to a single page. Otherwise, it displays erroneous results that do not match the data in the footer.

I should mention at this point that [IDFooterText] draws on data from 2 subreports (One in the ID Footer and one in the Report Footer).

I've been looking at this too long and feel like there's probably a simple solution that I'm overlooking. Does anyone have any ideas for me, please?

A fairly ugly solution that I once implemented for a customer consisted of, in either the Print or Format event of the Lot header (don't remember which), I ran a function that queried up the totals for that Lot number and returned them to the header.

It was a situation where the report went to about a zillion pages and the customer wanted to just look at the first page to see if he wanted to look any further.

This solution worked fine for my purposes, and was pretty simple to design. I can't think of any way you could look at the bottom of the report, and plug that data into the header. By the time the footer exists, the header has already been created.
