displaying current recordsource on form

I have several forms that I use to enter information. I just add tables and point these forms to the table I need to add to. How can I make an unbound control display the reccord source so I won't make the mistake of entering info into the wrong table? Or maybe, even better, there's a way to get a msgbx to assign to the right recordsource from user imput before the form is open? Hnm.

I'm sure this is very easy, but I can't figure it out. I'm all rusty in Access right now.

My thinking is that the recordsource for one particular form is never going to change. It's in the properties. Since it isn't going to change, I would just hard code it on the form.
