I am working on an Option 11c and am having trouble generating a generic display (5000 eg.) to appear on outside dialed numbers. Right now - a string of numbers appears that I am assuming is part of the PRI ID belonging to either Verizon or the vendor. Any help would be appreciated.

Need to set up CLID table in the CDB. The number being displayed is the billing/ ID number from your provider. Even if CLID is set up correctly the information may be ignored by the provider and that ID will always be sent. Look in LD 21 to prt existing CLID and LD 15, CDB, for gateopener and entries that have to be changed.

that is the table you need to modify, BUT if the provider is attaching a number, he is usually not going to attach yours.. in ld 96 enl msgo x against your d, you can see the exact number your switch is sending. one route i have sends my clid, no problem. if it doesn't see a clis it send xxxxxxx from it's data base. the other backup route just sends the hosp ldn from the phone book, and ignores my clid. if you want just one number, tell your provider to send it, unless the numbers your seeing now are in clid, then just correct them.. each phone sends the clid table of your choice. in this switch i enter key 0 scr 4904 5, that would send the did for that station. if key 1 is not a did, i enter scr 3903 d, to send the did on key 0.. if you never add a number past the dn, clid table 0 is used
