I hope that somebody might be able to point me in the right direction...

I am trying to create a report that will combine history (Table 1)and audit actions (Table 2)by time into a group. The first table contains information tracking a user through differnet locations. It holds info as to when they entered a location and when they left. I also have an audit table which logs any actions a user performs, such as loggin onto the machine, when they take breaks etc...

I would like to combine the 2 tables so that I can combine the audit actions in with the tracking actions, as such

LOCATION Time entered Time Left
-------- ------------ -----------
location A 09:00 09:15 (From table 1)
Add observation 09:07 (From Table 2)
location B 09:16 09:45
Issue ticket 09:18
Issue ticket 09:20

and so on

The tables are linked on date and by computer number.

I am not sure if i will be able to combine the 2 tables to display the informtaion as above, but if anyone has any ideas I would be thankful.

hi

create a main report with your table1
create a sub report with your table2

On your main report create a group that you want to group on and insert the sub report to the right of you data field in your main report and link sub report to main report

hope this helps
