In my query when I run it, it works fine. It selects the correct employees, except the employee is being listed three times. Not sure why. It should only be listed once. Please Help!!

Hi Sopman,
Is your query based off 1 table or 2? Did you look in your table to see for sure that there are not 3 names the same? If you're working with 1 table connected to another that may have many records for that one name, this is perfectly normal. If your records are the same all the way accross the row, you could double-click anywhere on the query window backgroud to popup the queries properties. Try switching "Unique Values" to yes, or "Unique Records" to yes, and see what this gives you. If your query is being created as the basis for a report, forget it entirely and let a report wizard sort and group it all for you. Once it's done, flip the report in to design view and check out all the work it does automatically! Gord
