Displaying a Monthly Group while using a date parameter

Hi,

i am running Crystal 10 pulling data from cashe database on WinXp workstation.

How do Group my report on the Month of the year (Jan) when I am using a date field for my parameter I using a date range to run the report. The date range would be, for example 1/01/2004 - 12/31/2004.

The Grouping should be
January
February
March
April.

Just insert a group on your datefield and choose "print on change of month". You can then format the groupname to read Jan, if you like, by going to format->field->date. Whatever dates you use in your record selection formula will appear in the groups. Your record selection formula probably looks like:

{table.date} = {?daterange}
