Hi,

I have a report which groups and lists the totals by category for the year. One of the categories needs to be listed on 2 lines as a 60% and 40% split of the category. It's been a while since I've done anything in Crystal, so I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around what to do, other than possibly putting a formulated literal at the bottom of the report breaking this out.

Crystal 10 is in play. Here is an example of what is currently displaying, and what needs to be displayed on the report (please disregard all of the ".", I just used them here to align my figures:

Current:
Rent................1000.00
Medical.............250.00
Travel...............250.00

Required:
Rent.................600.00
Housekeeping....400.00
Medical.............250.00
Travel...............250.00

Thanks so much for your assistance.

You can insert a new Group Footer section and place the following two formulas one below the other.

@Rent
if {category}="Rent" then
"Rent "&YourGroupTotal * 0.6

@Housekeeping
if {category}="Rent" then
"Housekeeping "&YourGroupTotal * 0.4

Then you can suppress the section/ fields which you do not need to be displayed in the report using conditions like {Category}="Rent" or {Category}<>"Rent"

Hope this helps.

Sounds good Betty, I'll give that a go.

Thanks!
