My DATETIME fields appear like this in my report:

2003/05/12 16:30:15.000

I need for them to show like this:

05/12/2003

I added the /MDYY to the end of each field in Developer Studio, but I get an error when I run it on the server.

Strange thing is that in Developer Studio, I don'g get the HH:MM:SS.000 portion of it.

Thanks,

Leo ;-)

Leo,

if you don't actually need the time portion, you could try changing the format in the mfd to USAGE=DMYY, ACTUAL=DATE.

What is the mfd?
Master File Description?
Where would it be located, the FEX is on the server?

Thanks,

Leo ;-)

Try editing the master file by chamng HYYMDs for the fields you're experiencing problems with to DMYY.

This worked for me.

There are other times when I do need to display the TIME portion, therefore, I can NOT change the Master File.

I tried using the CHGDAT function, but I am experiencing difficulties with it.

Thanks,

Leo ;-)
