Does anyone know how to display the name of the current user on a report using ReportNet?

Try inserting a calculation. Depends on the database you are using, for instance Teradata should support 'current_user'. Having said that I've just tried 'user' which is supported by DB2 but RN returned an error. Good look!

DOH !! If you do get the SQL to return current user (need to add Tabular SQL ) then of course all that gets returned is the Account that you defined in the data source connection. Sorry, well it is Friday - time for a beer :)

ReportNetGirl,

You wanna see the DB user or ReportNET user?

Try this :

Create a Calculation of the type 'Detail'.
In the expression editor, type :

#sq($dbCatalog{$account.personalInfo.userName})#

Have this calculation in header or anywhere. Now u shud be able to see the database name.
