Display true colors on screen

Hi,

I'm working with autocad 2004 and I have just started using true colors.

Once I have changed a layer's color Autocad does not show it on screen but i am able to print it correctly, so I know the color has been changed.

On screen it looks like if Autocad displayed the most similar color from the 255 Acad index color.

I guess there might be an option or a variable that controls how true colors are shown on screen.

I'd be grateful if someone told me how to display true colors on screen.
