Hi,

I am an old fashioned ASM programmer <g>. But recently I decided to start programming Win32-style. I downloaded many tutorials and faq's on the subject, but the best way to learn is to do.
SO maybe I will start asking stupid questions, so please be patient with me ;-)

What I want is a simple program (that does nothing) that runs as a service, displays a tray icon and a tooltip when hovering the mouse over it (NO windows needed). Can anybody point me towards an example or tell me how to accomplish this?

Many thanks,
LPent
