People,

I created large custom text title on a layer by diagonally dragging to form a text bounding box...entering the text...rotating the box slightly...applying text warp; & then a style.

Later, I changed my mind on the wording; but when I attempted to change it, because the new wording contained more characters, the first word became hyphenated; & the second word disappeared.

Easy right? Just increase the size of the text bounding box, so that the title will fit correctly. Well, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to do so. Is there a way to either display the Text Box Size dialog, or trigger the handles on the bounding box itself, after the fact? lease help.

Thanks much,

SonicMax

Yes Sonic, you can do it while you are using the Type tool. Just click somewhere in your text so it displays the bounding box and then (with the text tool still selected) just hover over one of the little square reference points on the BB box and the text cursor will change to a double headed arrow. Now resize your BB.

dimoj,

There are no square referrence points...only the outline of the bounding box. That's the problem.

Thanks,

SonicMax

What version of Photoshop are you using?
You haven't flattened the image?

Because I'm using 6 and recreated what you did, and I can resize the bounding box without problems

With the type tool selected you should see the square referrence points after you click on the type

Marcus,

It wasn't just standard text. I warped it...after which the handles never displayed with the bounding box.

I am also using v6. Try warping; & see what happens.

Thanks,

Marcus...

(I'm sorry...had to do that...that was from Raiders of the Lost Arc...I think of that scene everytime I hear your name.)

Anyway...That was it, brother! Works like a charm!

Thanks very much!!!

Sincerely,

Raiders of the Lost Arc

LOL! Try Raiders of the Lost Ark. You know you've been working with graphics too long when you start making mistakes like that.

Like accidentally calling your Pantene shampoo - Pantone.

And the other day I went to say softball - and it came out software!!!
