Currently I am doing a program in JSP, and my problem is when I want to display a string extracted from database which contains a single quotation mark e.g. 15' Monitor then the rest of the information will be displayed in the wrong column (all shifted to the left one column) in the table displayed on the screen. It will skip one information which is supposed to be displayed. Do anyone have any idea what is the problem and the solution to it ?

Normally the problem is getting the quote INTO the database correctly since different vendors apply different rules for quoted strings.
I can't really think of why you might be having a problem. A code snippet (and the database you are getting the data from) would help.
