display settings messed up

I have a user that has changed something on the workstation that makes word office button look very weird. I am not seeing the image I only see a black circle in the upper left corner of word. I have not been able to set it back to look correct.
I am hoping you can help.

Try renaming the QAT file associated with Word. If no joy, please repost.
