Hello,

I've recently been experiencing an issue with the display resolution increasing when I visit certain webpages - Yahoo is one. Other pages are viewed at their normal resolution and no changes are made to my computer's resolution settings. I recently had the W32.stator@mm worm and tons of spyware - all cleaned up now. I'm running IE 6.0 on Windows ME. Any ideas why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Thanks!
Tricia

Could you clarify a couple of things:

Is the text just small?

Are we only talking about the broser appearance? - meaning that if IE isn't maximized, the remainder of the visible monitor doesn't change resolution.

In IE, have a look at View, Text Size (or if you have a wheel mouse, hold the control key and roll the wheel).

The resolution is actually decreasing - all objects on the page are bigger than usual. And it only happens on some pages. Text and pictures seem to be equally affected. Only IE is affected - other non-IE objects are fine. Thanks!
