Hi

Im using Crystal Reports XI on Oracle 10g database.

We have 2 tables in the report PROBLEM_TABLE and INCIDENT-TABLE.

The fields in question is the PROBLEM_DESCRIPTION and INCIDENT_DESCRIPTION field.

The report is showing PROBLEM information but we require the report to show the INCIDENT DESCRIPTION if there is an associated Incident record.

If there isnt an associated Incident record then we want the report to show the PROBLEM DESCRIPTION.

I hope this makes sense and someone can advise of a formula to enable crystal to do this

Thanks

David

Do a left outer join from problem table to incident table.

Then all problem descs will appear in report whther or not an incident exists.
