Hello,
When I change my screen size in display properties (larger) I am having a problem getting the screen to look full size (in other words I have to bring the pointer either all the way down or up and left or right) almost like scrolling to view all that is on the screen. Does anyone know what would cause this since I have more than one pc (at work) and can not seem to make any other machine do this?
my OS is win 98
p2 350
cirrus logic 5446 pci video card
96 meg ram
Any other info needed will be supplied
Thanks Steve

what resolution are you currently at "(Larger)" doesnt help much, it could mean you went to higher resolution(where the sections of the display look smaller in detail) or it could mean you physically make it look large, like down in 640x480, as opposed to 1024x768.

increase your resolution a bit (by scrolling to the right, larger numbers, means higher details) [sig]<p>Karl<br><a href=mailto:kb244@kb244.com>kb244@kb244.com</a><br><a href= </a><br>Experienced in : C++(both VC++ and Borland),VB1(dos) thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, HTML, Visual InterDev 6(ASP(WebProgramming/Vbscript)<br>

The resolution was 640,480 and when I change it to 800,600 that is when I have to scroll to see all the desk top.
Thanks STEVE

What is the &quot;Desktop Area&quot; set to, that should be the same as the resolution.... [sig][/sig]

what it sounds like, is that you have Physical resolution set at 640x480, and virtual resolution set at 800x600, which means you can see the 640, but have to pan around to see the 800x600 desktop(like paulovey said) so check for Virtual, resolution and desktop resolution, you want to increase virtual(what you can see) [sig]<p>Karl<br><a href=mailto:kb244@kb244.com>kb244@kb244.com</a><br><a href= </a><br>Experienced in : C++(both VC++ and Borland),VB1(dos) thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, HTML, Visual InterDev 6(ASP(WebProgramming/Vbscript)<br>
