Is there a way to display PowerPlay reports (.ppx, .ppr) in a format other than Adobe Acrobat? I'm using PowerPlay Enterprise 6.61

Thanks in advance.

You can also display it in DHTML when press the Analyze button. In the DHTML mode you can save the report as a CSV-file. If you want it to be available in other formats you have to program it yourself using Cognos WebServices. But then you have to migrate to Series7.

Thanks esselinj...Now the only problem I have is getting my Analyze button to be enabled. On all of my reports they are disabled. I looked at the sample reports to see why "Explore" is enabled for them but couldn't find any differences. Can you tell me how to enable the "Explore" option? Or why a report does not allow that option?

Thanks again.

From the Cognos knowledgebase:
Description:

User is in PDF rendering of report but there is no Explore Button to switch to Interactive HTML. The user published the report from Enterprise Server from the local PPX file.

Solution:

Report was created against local cube not a Web cube therefore there is no available cube. Resave reports after opening against a remote cube.

Hope this helps !!
