I want to display the page number at the bottom of each page for EVERY page of my report, including all report headers.

I have multiple "report header" sections (each containing a separte bar chart analyzing the detail data in slightly different ways).

I have the page number displayed in the report footer, but this does not affect the page headers. I can manually add the page number to each header, but then it's hard to get the page numbers lined up correctly.

Is there any way to specify ONCE where I want the page numbers for each report header?

Try placing the page numbers in the page footer.

I tried that, but it only puts the page numbers on the detail pages, not the report headers...

Instead of using the report header sections (where there is no page footer), you can use a group header section. First create a formula that is true for all records, e.g.:

{table.id} > 0

Then insert a group on this formula. Make this your highest order group. Add two more group header sections, move your charts into these new sections, and then suppress the report header sections. You will now have a page footer available on the pages containing your charts, and you will only need to add the pagenumber once to your report.

This works. But a new problem came up. The page header appears on each page within this new group header. I want the page header displaying only on the detailed pages, how can I do it?
