How to display only top border for first box coming in the group footer? ie, In my report i have one group group1 where in the employee name will be displayed, I want only top border for first one and bottom border for last one

Do not use filed borders, replace with boxes and lines. This gives you much better control over format and makes alignment much easier.

Stretch box into group or report footer and it will grow as required.

While exporting to excel boxes and lines are not getting displayed, if i export to pdf then it is getting displayed

Thats just a setting on your excel export, in the export dialog box.

Check - Show gridlines

Ian

Not sure what the problem is. Are you saying grid lines are not displayed.

Do you get the options to show gridlines in dialog box?

Ian

Option is there but when i export lines and boxes are not getting displayed

Try giving the Box a fill colour and see if that is exported.

Are you exporting directly fro Crystyal or via another application?

Ian

Then also it is not getting displayed. If i export directly through crystal reports or through vb.net ,it is not getting displayed.
