Display on 2008 set not working? 3

Hi all, first post

Just a quick question, you seasoned vets should have no problem with this one! I inherited an option 61 about 6 months ago, from the previous telecom admin where I work. I know we have 2008 sets currently in use in our facility (along with 2006, 2616, 3904).

Up until now, I have never seen a 2008 set with a display on it, but I found a box of them hidden away today. The 2008's that we have been using, has 8 buttons along the right side, but no display. The ones I found, look exactly like the other 2008's, but with a display similar to that of a 2616. I thought I would try it out, so I found 1 TN for a 2008 set, copied it to a vacant TN and plugged up the 2008 w/ display.

It seems to work just like any other 2008, but for some reason the CPND of the calling party doesnt show up. It shows the time and date when idle (so I know the display is good), but whenever I call it, my CPND wont show up on the screen. Whenever I pick it up, the call timer starts counting up on the display. Simple programming issue? Thanks in advance!

and tdd if it has more then one line, or add if it has just one.. cls marks do a lot.. look over the ones on any display that end in a (allow)

i would usually add tdd cnda dnda cdca nama along with (non-display) ira lna and for mail fna hta mwa

May not work if you are missing the pkg however.

pkg is rls 1, That is the problem/solution John & Jamie you got it.
Mattie, in CLS on set, TDD first, then the others will take

CLS TDD CNDA DNDA & the others John mentioned if you wish.

You're set for No Digit Display (NDD) which TDD will replace, if not replaced, no way CNDA DNDA will take.

Can't change to add as long as he has something programmed on key 7.
First must get into ld 11 and do a chg on the tn.
Key 7 NUL
then
CLS ADD CNDA DNDA

After that your display will work

I just switched over from a 500set to a new 2616 I had boxed up for my office.

Did a CPY 1 from another 2616 set during the setup, programmed a few keys I wanted and now I just need to get the callerid part of the display to work.

I tried putting in TDD, but I get an error, which I'll paste onto here. If our main receptionist set has the callerid, then it is possible for others if configured right?
