I have a query that returns all our company's employees.

I need to show the names in alphabetical order; but show their employee numbers (like 1,2,3,etc) in DESCENDING order - regardless of when they were hired. The display would look like:

Adams, Joyce 47
Brown, Henry 46

Is there an easier way to do this rather than the second query I've created to capture just the employee numbers and try to get them displayed beside the correct employee?

Hi mate,

Could you elaborate a bit more on this?

The way I see it, you can either sort by alphabetical or employee number, I dont see how it would work trying to sort by both.

Hope this helps
