Display Monthname

I am using crystal XI.

I have a parameter field that prompts the user to enter a date. Using this date I want to display the month and year that they have chosen in the following format:-

e.g. they chose 12/12/07

I would want to display December 2007.

How do I create a formula that achieves this using the {?Date} parameter?

One formula can be used to display this:

monthname(month({?date})) & " " & year({?date})

No need for a formula, just format the parameter field to display it this way.

Ah, that's me overcomplicating things then - that formula came about because I was originally using the month and year in separate fields then joined them at a later date...
