Display long type in Crystal Report 1

In Oracle, the data type is long and contains a very long text paragraph. THe crystal report however only displays a portion of the field.
Is there anything special about crystal report displaying a long datatype? I am using crystal report 9.0 and I am a very new beginer on crystal report.
Any help would be appreciated.

Stretch field as wide as you want.

Right click ->Format field
Check the Can grow box. Field will then grow horizontally as required.
