My report has grouping 5 different fields.

One of them is weekly Intervals. There are two kinds of weekly intervals - Less than Weekly and Greater than Weekly. Right now if no records are found for Less than Weekly interval the report doesn't display it at all and move on to display next greater than Weekly Interval.

I want to display the Less than Weekly Interval group header even if it is empty and display a message saying "No records found". How can I do this?

Thanks

Crystal doesn't display a potential group if it has no actual members. That's how it works.

You could do some sort of total that would count the 'Less than Weekly' values and display a section saying Nothing found for Less than Weekly. You'd do this by putting it in a section and suppressing the section unless the count was zero.

The exact method depends on your database. Summary counts are based on groups, or else are grand totals, so they won't work. A running total can use a formula, but a running total has no value in it until after the printing has been done. So you'd have to test for zero or not at the end.

Another possibility is a cross-tab. I've not used them much, but I think they will show a zero value if there are also non-zero values in the row or column.

There are also mock-crosstabs - an assembly of running totals that will show a zero row or column. You should have been given examples as part of the Crystal package.
