HI

Can anyone help

How can I display graphics in a report.......I want to show pictures of dogs in a report that looks like a photo album.

IS there any way I can do this using the writefromfile method in a multi record report and not using a BLOG graphics field as this increses the table size too much

Best option is probably a separate table that contains:

Key field, same as main table
Graphic field

Populate the external table immediately prior to printing, and have this table linked to the master table in the report.

This way, you can VERY easily rebuild the table you are using to print the graphics with code (create) and populate it from the images on disk.

I have something similar, but with only about 100 dogs I went ahead and put the images (thumbnails, in my case - ~5k per dog) in the main table. And my table only contains dog name and image, so very small.

Thanks Tony
I am struggling to populate the table using objectpal
Could you help... I want to read the image file names from a table created from a query and populate the temporary table to hold the graphic images to run the report and print out the picture album.

Thanks again
