Display goes Pink

Here is the situation. We have an older machine that we mainly just use for recieving E-mail. The past cupple of days the display has been going pink you can still see the desktop and the icons but it is all covered in pink. I have tried the PC on a different monitor and the monitor on a different PC, both look fine. Does any one have any idea what cold be causing this? Is it the video adapter? Please let me me know.

Could be the cable...

sounds like a broken cable or bent pin.
had a monitor that went green on me when the red pin got damaged. sounds like you have no green to me. could also be that the monitor is on it's last leg... let me know if i helped or not, thanks

I replaced the monitor seems to be working fine now. Thanks for all your help.
