Hi,

I've locked down a desktop application and 1 user would like to have the file extensions showing! Although he can view/details and see the filename and it's extension type, he'd like to see the ".???".

Anybody know how to do this by hacking the registry and what to hack?

I'd investigate it but this week I'm toooooo busy so thought I'd ask you geezers!!!!

Cheers in advance,
Carl.

Hi,

Thanks for that, I actually found it yesterday afternoon! But couldn't connect to Tek Tips all day yesterday!

Cheers,
Carl.
