Display field will not update

I have a lookup column in one of my lists that I changed the name of, but in the newform, dispform, and editform it still shows the old name.

When I look at it out in the list view, it displays properly. This column cannot be deleted due to the nature of the template that I used. I have tried changing it to multiple different things and have had no luck. This worked the first time that it was changed, but has not since the first change.

I would appreciate some help with this.
