Hello all,
I am hoping someone can help me with this.
I am trying to troubleshoot some driver issues I am having.

Environment: CR9, third-party app (LabWare LIMS), Oracle DB

-Crystal's Data Direct Oracle ODBC driver is not an option due to the 3rd party app.
-Native connection is not an option due to the 3rd party app.

As I test, I would like to display some sort of driver info on the report. Is this possible? Either the DSN or the driver info would be ideal.

Thanks,
Thadeus

Hello again,
I just wanted to bump this request one time.
I realize that no-one may have the answer to this request, but I'm suprised I didn't receive a "You can't do that" type response.

I promise, I will not bump again. (If you look at my previous posts, you'll see I never do this).

Thanks,
Thadeus

You can't do that... ; )

But seriously, if you're using a SQL-compliant database, you could use system functions to get the server/database name (using SQL Expression formulas), but that's not really what you're looking for.

The only way I think you would be able to get the driver information is if you have access to the code that loads/previews/displays the reports. Through code, you could fairly easily get the information you're looking for.
