Display data in detail section on same line

Is there a simple (I'm not a programmer) way get the detail records for a report to print side by side in a series, rather than each one on a separate line. Here's what I mean:

I am trying to print a directory from a listing of names and addresses which includes family members. I am grouping by family. What I want is something that looks like this:

ADAMS
John Jane Jim Susie

Here's what I normally get:
ADAMS
John
Jane
Jim
Susie
