I am using Crystal XI.
I have 3 parameters and they are buckets, Financial Class, and Summary (Y/N). The buckets and Financial Class have many choices for the user to select from. The Summary is simply a Y/N to the question, if they choose No, then it will show detail.
I want the data to display on the report for ONLY the choices they choose. They are related to each other, meaning the following:
If the user choose bucket 31-60 and Financial Class of Commercial, and Summary = Y, then that is exactly what I want; all data that has financial class of commercial in the 31-60 day bucket and show me in summary form.
If they choose bucket 121-150 and financial class of Government and summary = N then I want all data that has financial class of government in the 121-150 day bucket in detail form.
I should have no problem getting the logic down, but I am wondering where is the best place to do this in Crystal XI. Is it through a selection formula, if so, Group or Record, or is it done better a different way.
If you need more information about what I am trying to do, please let me know.
Thanks,
